BEHIND THE LENS
Born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, James has always shown an interest in "people watching." As he grew older, he developed a desire to move out of the realm of mere observation and into the art of finding the beauty and uniqueness of human beings and their environments through the eye of his camera. After graduating from the Art Institute of Dallas and relocating to the Los Angeles area several years ago, James went on to further develop his photographic skills through workshops and additional training, and now specializes in glamour, relationship, and event photography. In addition to his photography, James is also a classically-trained performer, a songwriter, and an experienced camera crew member of Local 600.He's also one of the best barbecue masters in the Southern California region. (No, really.)
